Yes, recently a blitzkrieg! But the take over of institutions have been going for some time. The sad thing now is that the corporate world — not defending capitalism from the communist BLM radicals — have joined in on their side. And the public is following like sheep too.
Much of big business will be perfectly happy to be coopted. This is how fascism operates. Business accepts being the junior partner in return for protected markets and a stable, regulated profit. All they have to do is support the party line and provide enough high paying jobs for grifter pols, their family members and their associates.
At some point, the grifter element becomes large enough that the parasite kills the host.
There is also the risk that the activists, having consolidated a fascist and one-party system with no effective opposition, will take the big step to outright expropriation, at which point business becomes the enemy and the party reaches out to control everything.
“The sad thing now is that the corporate world not defending capitalism from the communist BLM radicals have joined in on their side.”
They’re doing out of self preservation . For the most part corporations are apolitical. They put their fingers up in the air and see which way the political winds are blowing and that’s the side they support.
Today this is their choice - pay lip service to BLM and the anarchists and gain a bit of time or get their place burned and looted and the CEO tarred and feathered.
They pay absolutely no price for not supporting our side. They know we’re not going to set their places on fire.
Given those realities if you were the CEO what would you do?
They’ll always come down with the political side that would cause them the most grief.
Until we learn to play that bare knuckle game, we’ll be in the losing end.
