People treat police like they are an independent entity. They are not. They have very clear bosses - Mayors and City Councils. They do what political leaders say. They are organized by political unions and organized into bureaucratic hierarchies.
So when you say they don’t care or protect you - that is correct. But that concept really needs to be pointed at the politicians above them. THEY don’t care and they won’t protect you.

I wrote to my mayor and city council tonight suggesting they form a committee to reach out to companies evaluating whether to leave insecure areas such as Minneapolis and suggested they contact 7-Sigma.
