no comments allowed? Or is this some sort "sign up for google" thing?
They are overwhelmed - some articles had over 1000 responses - it will take time to review and post.
I think you can put a comment in but it has to be approved before it’s pushed. Chicago cops probably got other things on their minds right now.
This should be amusing.
A couple of days back Second City Cop posted that they weren’t able to keep up with moderating the comments (most cops are working at least 12 hour days, with no days off, during the current excitement); a couple of days after that notification, previously uncommented posts started to show up with long threads of comments.
So presumably the folks running the site are a couple of days behind in moderation, and I suspect it’s likely to stay that way for a while. They do a heck of a job, by the way - the city newspapers are practically useless when it comes to anything that offends the politically- correct, so Second City Cop (along with “Hey Jackass” and “Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown”) are where one has to go to find out what’s actually going on in the city.
Correct “CWB” was calling the Jussie Smollett thing BS while the media was fanning the flames.
Check it now, I see comments added.
Please I know your oath to serve and protect but please officers remember who is with you and who is not. I am sure secretly they do. For all those who support or boys and girls in uniform open your doors to them, they are the ones who are our first line of defense
