While I would love to see such communications, if they exist, I would not
want to hamper any possible criminal charges that might be brought.
If releasing them does that, hold them close to the vest.

If I were Jr. I would be urging Barr to arrest anyone involved in any crimes committed immediately!

If no actual crimes were committed then, yes, release the communications.
Otherwise, bring charges, don't slow roll this and let the chips fall where they may!
