Wait - I thought the riots were about a cop killing a black man?
Now you’re telling me it’s failed capitalism because the protesters are looting the NCAA hall of fame and stealing sports paraphernalia?
the riots of the 1960’s were the death knell of every major city in this country. Afterwards, all we heard was we have to integrate the police departments, they are too white. All the cities that rioted last night all have black police chiefs now and majority have black mayors too and you see how much that helped. I live in Detroit...not the suburbs, but within the city limits. Ive seen it all as you can imagine..up close. I know and talk to blacks 30 to 40 years of age that have never been to a wedding ..ever. The schools are gone, and the ones that did attend school were mocked mercilessly for doing so. Drive around the city and all you see are groups making home made gangsta rap videos...the thug life is glorified...i know at least 20 people that pretend they are mentally ill, get on SSI, then go to shady doctors for pain pills and xanax which they sell every month. Its an automatic here. The first thing they lose, if they even bother to get one, is a drivers license. Also, sorry to say...but they absolutely just hate each other...you wouldnt believe the horrible racist names they call each other...im talking small children too. I would take some of the kids to macdonalds when they were hungry, the granny was buying 70 dollars worth the lottery tickets a day and could care less...and i would literally yell at them to stop calling each other those names. You see huge fist fights in parking lots,,,cars constantly running red lights...horrible neighborhood car accidents...go into a gas staion and crack cocaine “samples” are shoved into your hands,,whether you want it or not. Its all just a bizarre existence. Just shake your head...all you can do.
Capitalism failing will undoubtedly end looting.
