This afternoon, it was reported that former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will be the first witness to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee next week.
Ive never understood why Rosenstein, who has played such a pivotal role in the investigation of President Trump, has received so little scrutiny. Although he projects the persona of a boy scout, he is one of the vipers slithering through the muck of the Washington swamp. In March 2017, then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions made the disastrous decision to recuse himself from the Trump/Russia collusion case because he had met twice during the 2016 presidential campaign with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. This remarkably poor choice, which left Rosenstein in charge of the FBIs investigation, changed the course of history.
We all know Rosenstein is the man who appointed Robert Mueller in May 2017 to investigate allegations that President Trump may have colluded with the Russians to win the presidency and may have obstructed justice. We also know he wrote the memo which outlined the reasons why FBI Director James Comey should be fired. After Trump fired Comey and this memo became public, The New York Times reported that Rosenstein had been anguished. And, yes, The Times reported that hed offered to wear a wire into the White House to record President Trump.
p
is RR a white hat or a black hat??
A pink hat.
BLACK AS THE ACE OF SPADES! He got a Standing Ovation at some really left wing convention meeting right after he stepped down!!
This was the real tragedy of the Sessions recusal. I doubt he thought a special counsel would be so quickly appointed.
Below is something Trump re-tweeted this morning. It’s a real eye opener:

The RAT will run circles around Linda Graham.
I couldn’t possibly comment on that.
RR is scheming rat weasel. He is neck deep in this. He renewed the FISA apps when he knew they were based on BS.
He pressed Trump to fire Comey then used the firing as an excuse to name Comey’s bff as Special Counsel.
Need nick-names for the coup plotters...
RR is Rat Weasel
McCabe is The Squirrel....I mean c’mon, look at him.
Others ?
The RAT will run circles around Linda Graham.

Because Linda wants hi to run those circles, If the slithering Rod Rosenstein falters, Linda will prop him up.

1. Grahamn’s hearings will just be more useless political theater.
2. It doesn’t look like any of the principles in Spygate have been, or will ever be, interviewed by Durham.
3. Wray hasn’t done a single thing to clean up his disgraced agency and he continues stonewalling legitimate attempts to get access to information about the cabal.
4. Its apparent that FISA abuses will continue unabated.
Bottom line: Spygate will fade away and nothing will happen to any of the perpetrators. The Deep State will prevail, once again destroying any semblance of integrity in our government.
again and again.
One thing is for certain: you won’t hear a single mention of John McCain’s role in Spygate.
Don’t forget that Sessions and Rosenstein plotted what would happen, and didn’t have Trump’s back.
I don’t think Sessions fully understood what he was doing, and his lack of courage in the matter.
He was a weak AG, and opened the door to the conniving Rosenstein and the rest.
They should fry him, I mean fry him. HE MUST HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS WHOLE RUSE WAS TO COVER UP THE RUSSIAN HOAX.
Tucker hit a grand slam.
I wish someone would drill down on Gowdy with the following -
You recently said you regret believing the FBI and you did not learn that you were lied to until you read the documents yourself a few weeks later. Yes folks, he said a few weeks later he learned he was lied to.
Then why in the hell did you not immediately tell the world that the FBI had lied to you? Look at Gowdy’s statements after he claims he learned he had been lied to. He does not say crap!!!!!!!!! He was one of the two republicrats with the most access. Why did he not immediately go public with “what he learned?”
Don’t you think it would have been important to know this? He said NOTHING.
He just said on television that he learned that he was lied to by the FBI when he read the documents. He NEVER corrected his prior statement. NEVER.
Why?
Gowdy’s loves to ask witnesses “don’t you think that was important?”.
When is someone going to ask him?
I remember many of us (me included) had some trust for Gowdy and we were dumbfounded that he said “we would want the FBI to do what they did.” I remember posters here wondering what he had learned that caused him so much concern.
Gowdy is a liar. In his own words, “you can lie by omission.”
He lied by omission. I still cannot believe his recent statement. He categorically said the FBI lied to him in the briefing that caused him to make his statement and he learned this when he (again 1 of 2 who could for the GOP) reviewed the documents.
He told us he knew this was a lie and his statement was incorrect for 2 years, but he NEVER corrected the record. His shocking statement has been played by the MSM over and over for 2 years to crap all over skepticism about the actions of the FBI. It was exhibit 1 and Gowdy knew it.
There can only be one conclusion - he was in on it. We trust our elected reps for oversight. Gowdy and Graham have not only let us down, they lied by omission and were part of the scheme.
Sorry Gowdy fans, I can never buy anything he puts down again.
That is exactly what I was thinking during the Carlson interview. Gowdy has had a freaking year to come clean. No wonder Mark Levin has no use for Gowdy.
Rosenweasel.
