Can I ask a stupid question?
Can’t Muslims just go pray at the appointed time, without having a noisy call to prayer being broadcast?
Can’t Muslims go to their mosques on Friday at the appointed time, without being summoned in this manner?
Why do Muslims feel the need to publicly loudly broadcast this, in a country in which they are a small minority?
They can get the prayer notification on their phone. No need for loud speakers.
Noise violations are typically cut and dried. A certain level of decibels is a violation beyond one’s property line.
The limit is usually around 85-90 decibels.

The public call to prayer was appropriate for all-Muslim societies in which the average person had no way of keeping accurate time. In a multi-religious society with readily available ways of keeping time, there is no need at all for a blaring call to prayer. It is a tool of intimidation and supremacy.
I think a good response would be to drive a very loud boom-car with some nice all-American rap right by the mosque about 20 minutes after each call to prayer, and sort of circle the place for 5 minutes.
The first Amendment doesn’t permit the government to favor one religion over another, or choose which speech is OK and what’s not. If the Muz have the right to play their sounds loud enough to be heard for blocks, so do fans of other sounds, including gangsta rap, heavy metal, reggae, punk rock, and opera.
But in my experience only the rap fans have full on sonice-assault capable boom cars. The bass along can kill all the rodents for a solid block. Normally these things are a real nuisance, but now... turn it up!
Keep ALLOWING the importation of their people and they will keep electing them.

It would be fun to play Ride of the Valkyries (perhaps even with video from Apocalypse Now) every time the psychopaths play their sound track - and play it at the same volume and from all sides of their Jihad Center.
If I had to listen to that Muslim s**t from loudspeakers on a daily basis, I’d lose it. Yet another reason to be thankful about leaving that twisted state behind.

My brother was in the IDF many tears ago, patrolling one particularly bad area of the West Bank. Everyone on the base was awakened daily by the call to prayer...which they found out was a tape linked to a simple timer. “Somehow” someone unknown switched the tape for something if the heavy metal variety...and thereafter the volume was turned down considerably.
I’ve heard it while traveling in India. It isn’t the free expression of religious belief; it is acoustic bludgeoning.
Every rag head now has a phone. They can get called to knock their foreheads against the ground in Satan’s name by text message. No need to broadcast it any more.
