Barr said: “not every abuse of power, no matter how outrageous, is necessarily a federal crime.”

So he’s knows Obama did it, but not prosecutable. Should be.

So it’s cool to impeach the sitting President over an inconsequential telephone call but the AG can’t find it in himself to implicate the previous President in clear corrupt use of the Intelligence capabilities of the United States.

Got it.

If we have no justice for all then he has no right to prosecute anyone.

Did anyone really think Bammy was going to be called to court?

RE:”I think one of the lessons of history is that prosecuting ex-presidents is not the greatest idea,”

This discussion is much to do about nothing, if the Senate called Obama to appear under oath he wouldn't show up.

Anymore than Trump would show up in the House.

there has never been a president or ex-president run a coup on an elected president in the US. Why would we give an ex-president carte balance to commit any crime they want? Clinton and Obama and the others belong on prison or there is no equality or rule of law.

One thing to remember, Barr has always been an advocate of unchecked Executive Power.

The election will not be decided by the American people. It will be decided by Democrat vote fraud. And via his message, to use the term loosely, “Attorney General” Barr just gave the Democrats Carte Blanc not only to continue as they are doing and have done but continue as they are doing [continue the coup to dispose of President Trump] without fear of repercussion. Attorney General Bob Barr is the best Attorney General the Democrats ever had.

This is idiotic. Who expected anything to happen to them? Obama and Biden held accountable...for WHAT? What actual laws did they break? Biden will be held accountable on November 3rd. Obama to history as this is all exposed.

That’s a reasonable comment. Once that Pandora’s Box is open, the US could end up like a banana republic. The new president immediately arrests the old president for treason and corruption.

Reagan was. These crimes occurred on his watch and certainly at his direction. He’s got some explaining to do.

I would be fine with that if he was going to torch the lives of some other significant Assholes...

“As to President Obama and Vice President Biden: Whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern over potential criminality is focused on others.”

As the Durham investigation continues, this seems to me that the door is open if the information changes or new information becomes available.

If we've learned anything from the Criminal Clinton Administration, parsing sentences is important.

Good analogy. I think if they honestly follwo through on what Barr said, and don’t pull a Lindsey Graham, then it should be abundantly clear that there was thorough and systemic corruption that had to be known, with possibe coordination, by the king.

I will wait to see if Barr gets to checkmate, or if like so often before, this all, by design, ends up as so much water vapor wisping away over the months and years ahead.

Most people probably never believed those two would ever be indicted. Now, will they be disgraced? I surely hope so.

It will be much better politically for those actually being charged and tried to provide the evidence (as in RAT OUT) that they were working under he direction of Obama and or Biden. Presented this way Obama and Biden become TOXIC without hurting our side.
