I shop in a Walmart about once a week, mostly for food.(Maryland)
Coverings are technically required here to shop but I see a minority of Walmart shoppers pulling them down after getting in the store. I wear an N95 shopping but the chance of getting iCOVID in passing someone has to be close to zero.
I don't see police enforcing the rule here.
Curbside grocery pickup is great. I enjoy grocery shopping but curbside is confident and I do not have to wear a mask. Between glasses fogging up and not reading lips masks are quite annoying and I feel more isolated than when I am home. Note. I am an introvert and enjoy solitude.
