Burr is a POS, but we don't want the Democrat governor appointing a Democrat.
Burr is not up for re-election till 2022 - but the Democrites and their Media artillery will try to get him out of there sooner.

Richard Burr has been the quintessential Never-Trumper, and this “insider trading” stuff was just a bridge too far.
With luck, and the exercise of some degree of astute judgment, perhaps Mitch McConnell might put a REAL Republican in charge of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Burr might not resign, but he is now in bad graces all around, and up for re-election in 2022. He should be primaried when the season comes up.
Meanwhile, Schumer can publicly threaten TWO sitting Supreme Court Justices and Feinstein is free to have ChiCom Spies on her staff.

You ain’t gonna get an argument from me on that. It’s way past time to get these old farts out and put new, young Conservatives in leadership and there are some now......Gaetz, Jordan, Collins, Chip Roy......and many more that take kick arse and take names. I just scratched the surface but they’re are several on Crapitol Hill waiting for their chance if the states get them some help in primarying some of these oldsters who need to be put out to pasture and replaced with like-minded ones I mentioned........like YESTERDAY!!!

Richard Burr also sold a house to a Lobbyist that lobbies his Committee without ever putting the house on the market. Of course, he got 100k more than the value of the house.
