We can and should refuse to buy anything that says “Made In China” as of right now.

I have tried that. It is unfortunately nearly impossible to do. Back when the Chicoms forced the grounding of that spy plane in the early years of GW Bush admin I needed a new toaster and refused to by made in China. no luck, they were all made in China

It might be possible for a little while to find used whatevers not made in Communist China. Taiwan is different .

If one insists on new with the latest greatest tech like TVs that watch YOU then China is too often the only source.

You can’t blame the Democrats for this.
It reallly started rolling with the loss of electronics to Japan in the 1960s then economy cars and minitrucks in the 1970s. Reagan told us the era of smokestack economy was over and we were moving to a service economy.

Greedy union workers , overcompensated management, excessive deregulation, and “consumers” manipulated by advertising
all contributed to loss of American industry.
