These are really weird. Lots of things that had really boring early fifties things against each other, then later one on one, and then two good late 50s going against each other. Yuck.
What can I say. Trying to take the top 64 songs evenly from each year of a decade, match them up reasonably by year and rank, all difficult. And still based on ratings at the time, when people actually had adult tastes as well as varied.
The only songs on these lists that I find boring are the ones I have heard too many times--the perennial denizens of "oldies" playlists that get played over and over.
