Can't use that word anymore. In anticipation of a possible Harris VP run the Associated Press has added the word mistress to its list of forbidden words in its latest style book, the outline they give to reporters and editors on what format they will accept.

Did you see in yesterday’s news where the Associated Press style guide now prohibits the use of ‘mistress’? Must use ‘companion’ or ‘lover’.
If Mistress Kamala were a republican she’d be tarred and feathered by the media.
