who were the fighting Sioux going to play?? in the frozen 4? me i am a UMD bulldog fan

I don’t have any idea. They didn’t get into any pre final 4 games, so there was no guarantee they would have made it to the final 4, but they were doing well enough, that they certainly had a good shot at it.
Notice, I call them the Fighting Sioux. I am not into political correctness. I refuse to call them the Fighting Hawks, like the NCAA required. Previously, they had “Sioux,” on their jerseys. Now, all they have on their jerseys, is ”North Dakota.” I think that is their silent way of telling the NCAA to shove it somewhere.
Also, Ralph Engelstad, who financed the best College hockey arena in the entire country, wasn’t into PC either. I am not exactly sure, how they resolved it, but Ralph didn’t want anything to do with the name change, to “Fighting Hawks.” He hated PC as much as I do. He also built another arena in Thief River Falls.
