We live in a high rise. Residents are tired of quarantining and are starting to assemble in small groups for wine & company. Socially distanced, of course; our close call with fascism, IMO.
One woman said she missed passing out hugs & said a hug a day is good for one’s health. I agreed & told the others that the only one I want to hug is my wife. That nearly started an argument! Call me old fashioned.

My guess is she’s looking for a husband. Most definitely younger. Its a puff piece probably written by a friend of hers. To pique interest and drum up suitors.
It could be also because the fashion industry is now stuck with a Spring collection that nobody cares about and probably that is true for the summer collections as well. Vera, like everyone else, wants to weather a very unfriendly market.
