So what? Each year, there are about 600,000 deaths from heart disease and about the same number from cancer. In WWII we only lost 500,000.
Sorry, I forgot my sarcasm symbol. There have been many libs touting that number to connect that dark time in American history to today. They are trying to amp up their base.
My point is that those numbers are not the total for Viet Nam. I agree with you that we lose way more with the annual flu, heart disease, car accidents (esp drunk driving), cancer, abortion. This is political, not even connected with “our own good”.
