Wait... Isn’t that more than the body count for Vietnam??? According to John Hopkins, the death total for Nam is 58,220. But for the record, those that were counted in that total were the ones that died in-country (Nam) not the ones that died in surgery in Japan or in flight to Japan, to in the U.S. due to complications. This is personal knowledge.

So what? Each year, there are about 600,000 deaths from heart disease and about the same number from cancer. In WWII we only lost 500,000.
Americans are slow to anger, but once they do get angry, they are impossible to stop.
Sorry, I forgot my sarcasm symbol. There have been many libs touting that number to connect that dark time in American history to today. They are trying to amp up their base.
My point is that those numbers are not the total for Viet Nam. I agree with you that we lose way more with the annual flu, heart disease, car accidents (esp drunk driving), cancer, abortion. This is political, not even connected with “our own good”.

Many of these governors have a secret desire to be a prison warden. At this point the people have learned all they need to know about “self preservation” with masks, etc. and stand up to the nanny state controls. Time to stop to “cower-in-place” demands.
Things are brewing out there. The people are just starting to ignore the bs totalitarians. No asking about it....the people are going to be taking back their freedoms in a matter of days. If the dems are smart (not) they will quietly just let it happen. But in the meantime there’s a lot of dem voters rethinking their past affiliations.
