YouTube’s appeal was that it provided an accessible global commons. I guess the company now wants to reimagine itself as a subsidiary of the propaganda ministry.
To be blunt, it was done as planned since the beginning. Once they became a virtual monopoly, that was when the nazis came out of the woodwork, stealing all the production from the created content. There should have been massive lawsuits from the get-go for violation of terms of services in the beginning; remember, terms goes BOTH ways.
