I remember those “guns”. They didn’t seem real sterile as you stood in a line and they “shot” person after person with the same gun. I assume that’s why they went away, especially with HIV.

Outside of the rare allergic reaction, I’ve never seen anyone actually get sick from a flu shot, and I’ve litterally made several thousand of my guys get their shots. Lots of people feel a little soreness and a little run down and achy, but I’ve never seen anyone get “stay home sick”.

That said, there’s never been a coronavirus vaccine approved for humans, and the way they’re rushing this, I think I’ll wait for the guinea pigs to try it out...

I did see a few guys go down pretty hard after the anthrax vaccines, including one who had to be medivaced.

Count me in the Anthrax crowd—I’ve had 4 series, from the first to the latest and the smallpox, flu and a thousand others it seems. My Anthrax reaction was on my second tour, but I never made the connection. I got a booster right before I shipped home. I had a huge lump in my arm from the previous shot and never thought much of it; however, by the time I got back, I could hardly walk—I seriously felt like I was 80 years old. Took almost two years to finally diagnose rheumatoid arthritis, and I’m convinced it was in response to that immunization.

The number of military members with autoimmune diseases is much higher than the general populace, and there’s a reason. I don’t get flu shots and I won’t be taking the China virus shot. I’d rather take my chances against the bio agent, thank you.
