We reported earlier on the bombshell revelations showing documents that indicate the FBI was trying to set up Gen. Michael Flynn.
The documents are shocking as they actually set out in writing whether their “goal” should be to set him up to arrest him or get him fired, “Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
Now, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) is pointing out a devastating segment that just ran on Martha MacCallum’s show on Fox, given now the evidence of it being a perjury trap to get Flynn.

The segment showed former FBI Director James Comey admitting he was behind sending the agents to get trip up Flynn.
In the tape, he says, “I sent them” and he describes how he deliberately went around normal processes in the hope that they might be able to get Flynn, saying it was “something I probably wouldn’t have done or gotten away with in a more organized administration”

Comey is shameless, bragging basically about how smart he was to get Flynn who, wrongly, thought he didn’t have anything to fear talking to them, being an innocent man.
These agents have a lot to answer for and now this puts Comey right on the block with them, since he admits he was behind the whole action.
Comey won’t get his due punishment in this life, but he has a special place waiting for him in hell.
ARREST!!!!! Someone already!
Instead of the picture of Comey looking up at the majestic redwoods, I want to see the picture of him wearing his orange jumpsuit and sneakers, looking up at the majestic federal penitentiary iron bars!
It’s not devastating. Nothing is going to happen because the Republicans are pussies who wouldn’t fight even if victory was certain and their lives were at stake. I’m stunned at the lack of reaction from the GOP over all of this.

Guys like Comey are very careful to keep enough control files that he holds the short and curlies of both sides of the aisle
Its that simple. And that easy. All someone like him has to do is hold a dossier on 535 member of the House and Senate, 9 Supreme Court Justices and the top administrative echelons of about 35 Federal Agencies-prob less than 1000 people overall-easy to get leverage on more than 50% of a crowd like that.
Its the achilles heel of any centralized government-and one of many reasons the Founders intended for the states powers to exceed the Federal.

I hate to break the news to Comey, but has director of the FBI, he was a key player in the new administration. He didn't subvert the President. He subverted the Constitution and his oath of office.
Time to Gitmo Comey.
Time to bring back stocks in the public square - just for the humiliation before he is bankrupted in partial compensation to Flynn and then sent to Gitmo to share a cell with a goat loving terrorist.

I agree. Because so much of Washington is corrupt, intelligence agencies have dirt on more than enough people to keep any of their own crimes immune from prosecution.
Makes me think back to Hillary and her 900 FBI Files. It worked pretty well with protecting her.

Exactly right. There was an orchestrated effort to sabotage a presidency using the power and resources of the federal government, yet not a single hearing on it by the GOP senate.
If this had happened to a Democrat president every single person involved in Spygate would have already been tried and imprisoned. The Dems would never tolerate such a plot against them. There would be hell to pay.
By doing nothing the weak and pathetic GOP is guaranteeing that a future presidential candidate (assuming the GOP even exists by then) will be victimized by something like this again.
