That is a nice change from his rhetoric in the spring of 2016, but he was thinking Cruz would easily win the primary.
Nice! maybe it is just cause I live in these times and in the time of Reagan, but I think he is better then Reagan and maybe Lincoln (can’t comment knowingly on that). Reagan was less then a hiccup to the destruction the Bushes, Clinton’s and Obama who basically laid waste to our country and sold the people out. I am almost sure he was owned. Carter was a useful idiot.
Reagan and Trump were the two best presidents in my life.
To Levin’s credit, he has come a long way from his anti-Trump beginnings.
President Trump is not perfect. No man is. However, he is the right man at the right time for the preservation of our nation.
Rush and Hannity, two people that have known Donald Trump for decades were confident in the man’s basic Conservative instincts from the very beginning.
Both stated Trump is not a conscious movement Conservative but, his outlook on the things that matter are Conservative even if the man has never considered himself a movement Conservative, and was, in his early Presidency, totally unaware of the existence of the concept.
Since his election, the President has become very much aware of the extreme anti-American, anti-Constitutional positions of the dems and the media.
Not since Lincoln has a President been in such a trial by fire. Surrounded by subversives and under 24/7 attack.
Both men who know Trump well were correct.
If you go back to the primary, Rush would be anti-Trump without admitting it and then denying it. People that listened to his show will remember.
Rush said, ‘I know, I know, but you will never convince a Trump supporter they are wrong, despite you reminding them of these things.’ He also said that day he wouldn’t come out for either side because that would only get him in trouble, however, he’d said that before this call, as well.
Mark has repented, and has turned into a stalwart supporter of POTUS.
I honestly believe Mark’s transition is from a place of complete respect.
Not to say that I, too, do not trust a few NeverTrumpers....like cRuz and Lee.
But, Mark...I truly believe....has genuine admiration, for POTUS. And, if you happened to have listened to this clip....Mark acknowledges the love that POTUS has for our nation and her people.
Oh, Rush was clearly completely anti Trump. To say nothing of the foaming trump haters Levin and Prager at the time.
Wrong. Rush was never anti-Trump. Rush NEVER advocates for any candidate during the Republican primaries. He maintains a neutral position stating his opinion on the Republican candidate’s strengths and weaknesses as he sees them. He has stated this clearly. Every Presidential Election Cycle.
He also stated after Trump won the Primary that he knew Trump would win from the moment Trump gave his interview after coming down the elevator and addressing the media.
Anyone who LISTENS to Limbaugh on a regular basis would know this because Rush has stated this many many times.
