These people think they have the right to control things because of their money. I have chickens and another 14 about to hatch. A cow wanders into our yard every so often. Possession 9/10 law? 😋 We can buy directly from farmers. My husband shot an elk this past year in Montana. We have a huge garden and I know how to can. A lot. We’re set. God told us to spread out. If you can, get out of the city.

Good advice. For several years I lived in the country, learned how to can food, etc. Ended up moving back to city life — had a relative with bad health.
Now I’m in a much smaller city but don’t have land to grow food, have chickens, etc. As you said, rural life is the best place to be for taking care of yourself/family and surviving hard times.
