Loneliness is also pretty big killer among the elderly. Gitten old ain't fer sissies!!!
I agree, lol. I’m getting up there myself.
With common sense procedures in place, isolation doesn’t have to mean without human contact and without family.
There just has to be extra precautions when interacting with the older people.
My husband is late sixties with cardiomyopathy and high blood pressure. He’s definitely high risk. We have to be very careful about the kids coming around him but they would not want to be kept from seeing him and he needs them too.
I realize it’s complicated, but the people who can work need to get back to it.
