This is the latest count 25 minutes ago for my county. 47 cases, 5 deaths, 3 recoveries. These are ALL COVID-19 CASES. That puts the death rate so far at almost 11 percent. About 40 of these are in the local nursing homes. It has not peaked in my area. These numbers have doubled in about a week. They can trace these nursing home cases back to ONE PERSON who entered both facilities a little over two weeks ago.

The fearbros will never stop.

11% death rate? Yes, from 47 KNOWN cases. If there are 47 known, there are a lot more than that unkown, and none of them died.

There are about 329,064,917 people living in the USA. The total number of deaths as of today (4/21) from COVID-19 is 43,796. That’s a death rate of about 0.0133%. To put it in some perspective, total deaths from all causes (US) as of April 18th was 615,428 (about 14%) or. Additionally, total non-COVID-19 related pneumonia deaths where at 49,013 as of the 18th.
In 2017 (the last year full data is available), an average of 7,708 deaths occurred each day (all causes). If you look at the total number of ALL deaths I quoted above for this year, from January 1st to April 18th (108 days) it averages to about 5,698 per day, or a 26% DROP from 2017 numbers. So we are wrecking the economy based statistically, on a problem that doesn’t exist. This data is available to anyone at www.data.gov and at CDC’s QuickStats.

As our county case rate increases, the death rate goes higher. That is a KNOWN. My guess is because we just had access to the all the PPE and magic drugs we needed a week ago.

The flubros will never stop.
