The inadequate but useful book American Secession: The Looming Threat of a National Breakup by F.H. Buckley discusses the migrations which are increasing. Supposedly, it is the alternative to physical Civil War II. But doesn't really work as peaceful solutions rarely do. Otherwise we wouldn't have history books overflowing with wars.
Author's point: we are so strongly divided that we hate having to tolerate the enemies living near us and we do not like being around them.
