I don’t know if it’s just me, but , I did a double take at the way she was holding that corn. And i know that everything is carefully scripted in a commercial.
That Mazzola margarine maid was showing some attitude:
“You call it corn. WE call it maize! Get it right, WHITE BOY!!”
That was in 1976. She has to be my age now. Pow Wow Chow time.
The appearance of Sacheen Littlefeather at the 1973 Academy Awards is also worth recalling.
