In 1787, the HMS Bounty set out on a journey that took it through perilous seas to a tropical paradise and into history as one of the most ill-fated vessels ever to sail for King and country. Lewis Milestone (All Quiet on the Western Front) directed this color-drenched spectacular nominated for seven Academy AwardsÒ* including Best Picture. Filmed before in 1935 and again in 1984s The Bounty, the gripping tale, based on a true story, centers on two men. Marlon Brando puts his own stamp on the role of first officer Fletcher Christian, the tormented first mate transformed into a man of action. Trevor Howard is Capt. William Bligh, uncompromising in his command and his cruelty. Fear is [my] best weapon, Bligh proclaims. But its also the most costly, driving men to desperation and to mutiny. Richard Harris, Hugh Griffith and Richard Haydn also star in this epic adventure.

Tell the Democrat Governors that Mutiny On The Bounty was one of my all time favorite movies. A good old fashioned mutiny every now and then is an exciting and invigorating thing to watch, especially when the mutineers need so much from the Captain. Too easy!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 14, 2020
I don’t know what Trump is doing hear, but going around and stating that his power is absolute is dumb. Even if it is, stating it in the terms that he did is a mistake. IMHO
After the mutiny, Capt. Blye and the loyal sailors made one of the greatest feats of sailing ever.
Wrong one, the original is better. Charles Laughton was the perfect Captain Bligh.
Soon to be the most watched movie of the week.
This one puzzles me two. Seems like escalating a war that hasn’t started.
Read the Mark Levin tweets for further explanation. Then it will become clear what Trump is doing. Too many to post.

I remember reading of Fletcher Christian (Brando) and his dandy attire when he shows up at the ship. I also remember MAD Magazine’s takeoff on it. The men were more interested in him than the ladies he showed up with.
2. I think it was about 15 mins ago that they demanded that the President nationalize various companies, institute a nationwide shelter-in-place order, spend trillions nationalizing the state governments debt, appoint a high-ranking general in charge of all supply decisions, etc— Mark R. He’s already had his mutiny. It failed.
“Wrong one, the original is better. Charles Laughton was the perfect Captain Bligh.”
Yes, Clark Gable was also better. Brando seems to mumble through most of his lines.
I’ll check it out.
Is that the 1930s version?
Love it!!
POTUS has roped the doors, AGAIN!
Todays presser should be another barn burner :-)
They must have used a ton of tape to keep those leis strategically placed on the ladies.
Then when the head of the Executive branch announces his intention to open the economy in the near future, all of a sudden this Federal program has to be carried by the governors of each state.
Don't they then realize that once the governors open their economies, every single death from that point on is on the governors' shoulders and Trump is off the hook?
Love Mark!
