According to an estimate by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there were approximately 45 million cases of the flu in the United States during the 2017-2018 influenza season, resulting in an estimated 810,000 flu-associated hospitalizations and an estimated 61,000 flu-associated deaths. It also killed more children than in any non-pandemic year on record, 172.
In the 2016-17 season, there were an estimated 29 million flu cases in the United States; and estimated 497,000 flu-related hospitalizations and 38,000 flu-related deaths. (For comparison, 36,560 people died in car accidents in 2018 in the United States.)
The CDC reports that between 291,000 and 646,000 people worldwide die from seasonal influenza-related respiratory illnesses each year.
The U.S. has surpassed Italy as the country with the highest number of coronavirus deaths with nearly 22,000 recorded by early Monday and 554,007 cases, according to left-wingNBC News figures. Worldwide, the death toll is more than 114,000, and the number of confirmed cases nears 1.9 million, according to Johns Hopkins University. Isnt it strange that this season there are hardly any flu deaths? They are all magically called CV19. Pneumonia has been wiped off the Cause of Death list. Still considering the numbers from the 2017-2018 influenza season the COVID 19 numbers are nothing.
And I dont remember any lockdown os school closures during the 2017-2018 season?
The coronavirus cannot keep us stuck in our homes forever.
Someday our kids will go back to school, we will return to work, and families and friends will gather once again for birthdays, holidays, weddings and funerals.
We will see movies in theaters, get drunk in crowded bars, and scream recklessly in packed sports stadiums droplets be damned.
But how will we get from here to there? What will reentry to normal life look like? How will we ever trust ourselves again, our unseen enemy is created by the mainstream media and is here to stay. What do you think ?

Some people like beating a dead horse
Some people like seeing the truth for a change. In lieu of the constant panic and hype.
Quarantine gets to some people doesn’t it.
They start to scream and rant over someone else’s opinion.
The Thin Facade of Authority
Victor Davis Hanson
As Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin are to beautiful and logically constructed music, Hanson is to language. His writings simply sing and are a delight to read.

Yup. The worlds response to the Wuhan virus is a puzzlement.
Since you asked, ramp up testing now matter what it takes. Whoever is negative goes back to work. Whoever is positive is quarantined. Elderly, those who have health issues have to take extreme caution or stay at home until this is over. Have some other ideas, but would need to sit down and think about it some more.
You cannot force positives who have been sitting with the rest of us back into isolation. I have a business to run. How do you suggest I do that?
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't they doing that as we speak based on the resources that are being provided?
If I were the President I could. You haven’t been listening to his correct responses to such statements.

Yes, we know the flu stats (over & over & over again), the question is what are the COVID-19 stats going to be after one year? COVID is tracking for 183,000+ fatalities in the U.S. in one year at the current rate. Of course “current rate” is subject to large variations depending on “lockdowns”, vaccines, new treatments. etc..
I took a beating early on (before all this crap had been implemented because the panic had been sown and otherwise rational people were clamoring for what we ended up with...that was then and this is now...the milk is spilt and long curdled, time to stop crying over it.
