I figured so. We lived in Pontiac for a year. Had to get out of there. Most of the large metropolitan areas vote dem because of all the “entitled” people. Unfortunately, if you have a lot of these dem areas with large populations, the state goes to the dems. I live in Jefferson County here and Hillary won the county because Birmingham is the biggest city in this county. I understand completely.
Sounds sort of like what happened here in Alabama with the senator race. Unfortunately Roy Moore was the repub candidate running against the dem Doug Jones. Roy is too far right for probably all dems and probably some repubs. He gave the impression that he had the election in the bag because when he was accused of bad behavior with a woman, he really didn’t push back against the allegation much at all. That opened the way for Jones to be elected.
BY the way, my wife and I used to love driving into northern Michigan in the fall and early winter. It was beautiful. Really liked to stop in Frankenmuth.
Even outside of ‘crisis’ times, the Rats feel they have to ‘do something’ instead of letting liberty rule.

My wife and I are hoping to do a kayak tour of Pictured Rocks National Seashore in the Upper Peninsula this summer. We booked the tour but not sure if it can happen.
I’ve backpacked across Pictured Rocks (about 50 miles) and cycled across most of the southern side of the UP.

That sounds exciting. We did go to Sault Ste Marie once in June. Left Pontiac and it was around 75 degrees. Got there and the high during the day was 55. It was a great weekend trip.
Surely you jest!! I want all of them . . . local, state and federal . . . out of my life when it comes to matters like this. I am quite capable of self-isolating and family-isolating if necessary. This is like “if you need a warning label on the drain cleaner to keep you from drinking it”, you don’t have enough sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel! The great Darwin experiment would be to remove all warning labels and let’s winnow out the brainless!

Yeah, Northam signed the unconstitutional red flag law on Friday, and fast tracked abortion while he was at it, all while everyone was distracted. I’m afraid North Carolina is only a couple of years away from this stuff. Roy Cooper would make it happen now if he could get away with it.
That’s an idea. I can imagine liberal heads exploding....they don’t even want the national electoral college.
