This was a well-reasoned opinion that was also a pleasure to read. Judge Walker explains the law in a way that average citizens can understand.

My thought when reading his text was: “Wow, he needs to be promoted to Circuit Judge as soon as there’s a vacancy.”

If what you report is accurate, that may happen before year’s end.

I know that there are a lot of FReepers who are predicting the end of the Republic as a result of this pandemic.

I’m no cockeyed optimist, but I do believe things could go either way in the coming months.

This legal drama in Louisville may be one example of a badly needed backlash against left-wing statism. It’s fortunate that a fine jurist like Judge Walker stepped in just in the nick of time.
