Here in DC I daily see groups of families with kids paying no attention to social distancing, not only from each other, but from those who they randomly encounter in the park.

Idiocy goes both ways.

Yesterday cops cleared the park by me at Arlington. There had been small groups of families play soccer, golf, and baseball on an open field.

The soccer field is roped off with police tape and tennis / basketball courts are locked with nets taken off.

I walked my dogs around the field to see what the cops, who were still sitting in their cruisers, would do. They ignored me.
