Wow, fascinating info. Thanks for posting.
My wife was sicker in the first week of November 2019 than she’s ever been before. I was out of town until November 7 so didn’t see it.
I’ve never heard of the “7th CISM Military World Games” (commonly known as “Wuhan 2019”) before. Wiki says this is the first international military multi-sport event to be held in China and also it was the largest military sports event ever to be held in China, with nearly 10,000 athletes from over 100 countries competing in 27 sports. Host nation China sent a delegation consisting of 553 participants for the games, which marked the record number of participants to represent a nation at a single Military World Games. Around 230,000 volunteers were recruited for the event to be staged in China.
Wiki—>”Some articles on popular sites in Chinese have accused American athletes participating in the Wuhan Military World Games to have deployed the virus. They claim the inattentive attitude and disproportionately below average results of American athletes in the game indicate they might have been in for other purposes and they might actually be bio-warfare operatives, and that their place of residence during their stay in Wuhan was also close to the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, where the first known cluster of cases occurred.”
The U.S. came in 35th! That is an awful performance, for sure.
How in the world were we ignorant of an event with nearly one-quarter million people putting it on?
What a perfect way for China to quickly distribute the disease all over the globe!
I thought before hand U.S. participation was stupid and a mistake. I know it was.
If you had a new bio-weapon and wanted to try it out, the Wuhan games would be an ideal starting place. Competitors from all over the world compete and take the bio-weapon back home with them. Perfect!
