This woman is only seeking attention. She has an Instagram following and saw this as an opportunity. Pretty soon we will see her “I’ve been getting death threats” post.
Think of this from the legal liability point. If she was allowed to use a N95 that she brought from home and then got the Corona virus the hospital would be hit with a multi million dollars lawsuit, and would lose because of their negligence in allowing her to use her own mask instead of the hospital supplied mask.
From the hospital’s point of view, her quitting was the best thing that could happen. She was a threat to the hospital and the patients either because of her lack of common sense or her need to be the center of attention.
