In an interview Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the White House's delayed response to the coronavirus pandemic cost American lives.
"The president, his denial at the beginning was deadly," she told CNN's Jake Tapper. "His delaying of getting equipment to where it continued -- his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly. ...

Tapper asked: "Are you saying his downplaying ultimately cost American lives?"
"Yes, I am," Pelosi replied.
Pelosi also hinted there would be an investigation into the administration's handling of the pandemic once things go back to normal.
"I don't know what the scientists said to him," Pelosi stated. "When did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know and when did he know it? That's for an after-action review."
"But as the president fiddles, people are dying. We just have to take every precaution."

Pelosi has been in Congress since 1987. That’s THIRTY THREE years. She was speaker from 2007 to 2011 and 2019 to date. That’s SIX years. She had the top job in the House of Representatives.
She’s been in government about nine times longer than President Trump. What did SHE do to ready the nation for this?

She has no shame. All they’re doing at this point is centered on defeating Trump in November. They don’t care about lives. Only about winning the White House.
Why doesn’t Pelousy announce that Cuomo, De Blasio, other politicians and hundreds of journalists will be investigated as well since all of them ignored or downplayed this virus. Pelousy probably joined the chorus who denounced Trump as “racist” for banning non-citizen Chinese from coming to the US.

Might be a good idea to televise her from a right angle so that viewers get the sense of peering at man-made three-D kinetic apparition.
Speaker Pelosi is rarely seen....she only emerges to issue nonsensical pronouncements accompanied by robotic hand-waving.
She actually communicates more human emotion when she chews her gums than she does with her political ramblings.

If Nancy had rushed her “urgent” impeachment articles to the Senate instead of waiting 30 days, Trump could have been focusing on the China virus.

This whole despicable interview of Jake Tapper and Nancy Pelosi is so bottom of the barrel, lowest of the low (I don’t know what other bad terms I can think of).
While president Trump and his special response team are SOLVING problem(s) facing the nation; Tapper (representing the whole media) and Pelosi (Dem politicians) are CALCULATING their next step to bring down Trump.
It is just as well we are not at war currently, I don’t think the whole country will pull it together with these bunch of despicable human beings closeted in/near DC.
The answer to this is very simple:
Trump was impeached “forever.” The American people will well remember that when this was breaking, NaN and Schiff were busy impeaching the President.
Yeah it’s vile, despicable and expected. It is times like these I really envy the rats with their total support of the entire media establishment. I don’t know if you have seen the ads but they are going to punish Trump for trying to keep things calm while they got a handle on things. He had to do it but they are going use it against him.
How about an after-action review of all the actions, edicts, orders, and pronouncements made by governors during this manufactured crisis? A nice Constitutional review is in order I think.
Sounds like the RNC needs to do an split-screen ad. Congress on one side doing impeachment, then text on the other side saying what the Admin was doing to prep for the dempanic, whoops I mean pandemic.
He should have been on top of this in 2018.
I can tell you personally about Trump supporters who remember well that when Trump was sounding the alarm he was accused of “just distracting from impeachment.”
At the end of the day, I suspect that the battle will shape up with the Dems counting on the American People being stupid. We will see if it works this time.

I don’t see any ads because I don’t watch TV (just streaming shows and DVDs). I also don’t listen to the radio (just Rush 24x7 and Spotify). So sometimes I feel left out of what’s going on in that sphere. I can imagine how despicable the ads are.

Politics is such a sleazeball game, particularly on the Dem side. They are the sleaziest people known to man. I’d almost rather get a serious coronavirus than lie down with them.
