The ballot-harvesting provisions in the stimulus bill may have guaranteed continued Democrat control of the House of Representatives (not that the Republicans in the House care very much about being in the minority), which means that the Democrats can try another impeachment after the election.

That is, unless the Biden/Abrams ticket wins. (It hurts even to think about Abrams a heartbeat away from the Presidency...the DNC may dictate to Biden who his running mate will be...unless they impose Cuomo as the nominee.)

I think that red states, at least, will not get around to writing the legislation that would authorize these “election” changes and there will likely be law suits in some of the blue states to try to stop it.
