Yeah her campaign slogan was “fix the damn roads”. And she said that there were enough funds available to do it without raising taxes. People bought it and she got elected. All of a sudden she discovered that a 45 cent a gallon incease in the gas tax would be required to “fix the damn roads” imagine that.
Jenny Grandstand blew me out of Macomb County and Michigan ten years ago.
We were home visiting family when I saw the first of HalfWhitmer’s ads in her car.
It was a great tagline and I knew the idiots of Michigan would elect her just as much as I knew she’d do as good a job destroying the state as Grandstand did.
