Seems odd that the virus would disproportionately target Iran’s leadership.

Either they are lying about the true numbers, or the leadership had been having a lot of meetings with infected Chinese.

Or, they just want to pretend to have died so they can lay low.

It does certainly seem to be taking a lot of them off. OTOH, these tend to be evil old coots with poor personal hygiene, so there's that. Either way you look at it, though, that government's got trouble.
