Over at Paul Bedard’s “Washington Secrets,” pollster John Zogby says President Trump has risen to the challenge of the Coronavirus Crisis facing the Nation. Zogby compares Trump to President Franklin Roosevelt, who led America through the Great Depression and World War II.
There is no doubt that President Trump has moved boldly and decisively to curb the spread of this virus. The actions he has taken are very difficult, especially for a President who worked so hard and so successfully to rebuild the U.S. Economy. To urge the shutting down of much of that Economy in order to save thousands if not millions of lives was difficult. But he had to do it – and he did. He has been inspiring this week as he day after day in the Press Briefings maintains a sense of hope and optimism, again and again telling Americans, “We’ll come back better and stronger than ever.” . . . .
