Was just at the 24 hour Walmart, stopped after work, which I occasionally do. I needed a refill of nicotine gum and some bread. At 1:00 in the morning I seldom see more than a couple of people. Tonight, I had to wait in line behind people with carts full of multiple bottles of bleach, soda, water, big bags of beans and rice, one guy had about 10 bundles of tortillas. The kind that stack high. A few elderly people who stopped and stayed back when someone was heading past them about 10 or 15 feet away. The store was hopping. Had a conversation with someone in the middle of an aisle lol.

I’ve seen it like that during hurricane season. Even at 03:00, the stores were crowded with people, with multiple carts even. We’ve only had to top off a few supplies and haven’t had to venture to the local Walmart much. This morning we made a quick run and it was much more crowded than usual. Several people were wearing masks.
