In the spirit of letting the horse run out, catch an Uber to the airport, then hop a trans-Atlantic flight, *before* closing the barn door, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom finally admitted today that the coronavirus outbreak should now be officially recognized as a "pandemic".
He now urges all countries of the world to activate and scale up emergency systems, communicate with the public on how to stay safe, and test & treat everyone at risk.
Ya think???
Peak Prosperity has been advocating for those same steps since Chris' first video on covid-19 on Jan 24th. That's 47 *critical* days ago.
Tedros, the WHO, the CDC and many other government/health organizations have endangered the public welfare by downplaying the seriousness of the coronavirus outbreak and delaying critical action.
Our actions here at Peak Prosperity have been intended to inform folks of the data and facts as we best know them at any given moment, so that people can take informed action. Our warnings were designed to get as many people prepared in advance, so that they would be and *not* have to panic if the pandemic indeed continued its spread.
Ironically, it's the media and organizations like the WHO , who initially derided our daily updates as fear-mongering quackery, who are now stoking fear and panic.
As we find ourselves repeating a lot these days: it didn't have to be this way...
This is why educating yourself via sites like Peak Prosperity and taking prudent action when the facts call for it is so important.
Those of us not already self-quarantining all need to use the scant time we have left to get our preparations fully in place.

don’t get too excited about the word pandemic. It means “an outbreak of a disease that occurs over a wide geographic area and affects an exceptionally high proportion of the population”
First of all, nothing about death from the disease in the definition. Secondly, “an exceptionally high proportion” of the U.S. population has not yet been affected thanks in large part to the restrictions implemented by President Trump.
So don’t let the overuse of the pandemic word by the media get you too frazzled.
Chris’s videos are fantastic. must-see summaries that (most importantly) are heavily cross-referenced with hard, objective data from a broad number of independent sources.
I’d challenge you to provide any objective data (not just your opinion, but actual data) that contradicts a single point made in any of his videos - but I suspect you’ve probably never even watched one.

Denial is not a particularly useful strategy. But, I know..it’s all BS, just to “get Trump”..sigh..in the meantime, Italy has hundreds of deaths a day now..their ICUs are collapsing, working at 200+%..and most objective analysis is that we’re about 2 weeks (possibly 3) behind Italy. Hope you’re ready - and that you guys who are in denial about all this will eventually mea culpa and apologize to those who have been trying to warn you as to what’s coming.

Unfortunately, our economy will die by a thousand self-inflicted cuts. All of this for a 1% fatality rate per the head immunologist on the Trump team. But Italy! Well, consider the nationalized health care system they have. Seriously. It’s beyond frustrating that chicken littles would follow the media right off the cliff.
If we survived 2009 why wouldn’t we survive this?
Because people are running to stores and stocking up, emptying shelves, and pulling their money out like it’s 1929 all over again. Demand will exceed supply if this over-reaction is not stopped by cooler heads. Seriously, I hope you’re right, but if the economy crashes it will be because people listened to the media who has been wrong about everything else!
My conclusion is that the big difference between 2009 and today is......social media.
