They need to change their name from “Dick’s” since they no longer have one.
Around tidewater Dicks did that 3 or 4 years ago. There stores suck anyway, and really cater to the soccer moms and sports oriented high schoolers.
They also closed golf galaxy and moved the operation to the Dicks brick and mortar.
When was open I did go to Golf Galaxy, only because they had several Club Builders there that actually knew what they were doing and they could fit clubs very well to my tall frame. They would even bend forged shanks no problem. I haven’t been to the consolidated Dicks yet, if I will ever go because my golf equipment is static and I don’t really need anything from there, plus I got to drive at least 25 miles to the nearest one so I’m sort of... I don’t care.
