It’s not anything new or uniquely nefarious - as a foreign policy tool, getting the barbarian to fight the barbarian is something that’s been around since before Roman times. But previously, the Russians had only helped the Democratic barbarians.
Zero Hedge has a no-racism posting policy. Yet they leave antisemitic comments up. I find that interesting.
One of the things I find most distasteful about the site are the comments. Some of them are ROTFLMAO. But lots of racist and antisemetic stuff too. The posters especially seem to blame the Jews for everything....and I mean everything. Some also blame the Muslims, but according to ZH posters, the Jews are 80% responsible for what the Muslims do too. After a while you just mentally filter that stuff out as noise. Or at least I do.
Probably the #1 reason I read it is that its about as contrarian to the MSM as you can get without being batsh!t crazy. And I often find contrarian material fascinating.
Zero Hedge was always a pro-Russian site, now we know why.
You have to slog through a bunch of nonsensical and poorly written scare paragraphs to get to the meat that pops up out of nowhere -

Not just the left either, there's plenty of diseased McCain types on the right.
