This is a perennial issue with The Last Refuge as similar subject matter was posted two years ago on FR.

But today we have a contingent of Americans that are listening to Socialism so it behooves us to examine what is driving so many young Americans to consider a massive failure of economics that is Socialism. And let’s not be distracted by connections between Socialism and Communism. by causal influences from a lefty academic edifice, and so on. Such discussions have value but will draw us away from the real focus which is why young Americans are not embracing Capitalism. Let’s talk about that.

Socialism today is very much a rallying cry, as is climate change, as are a slew of other leftist rallying cries that socialists pull out to whip the public narrative to their side.

The service economy that multinational globalists have concocted over the past decades is NOT an expression of Capitalism which is the best economic system ever expressed for the quality of life and health of populations. What multinational globalists have expressed is an OLIGARCHY.

oligarchy NOUN
* a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.
* a country governed by an oligarchy, “the 19th century English aristocratic oligarchy”
* government by an oligarchy.

Oligarchies have replaced American enterprise in every aspect of life.

Look at the news outlets, the fake news outlets, the legacy media is now controlled by six corporations. This is OLIGARCHY, it is not capitalism.

Many have forgotten what Capitalism is and why it’s good, why freedom underpins the culture and commerce of Capitalism.

What is Capitalism in its basic, undressed, pure form?

Here’s a universal example that drives it home, that allows your teens to grasp it quickly.

Three people come together and make an agreement to work out a way to produce something that they can’t produce individually.

One person brings land.
One person brings seed.
One person brings a plow and a mover.

The three people plant a crop that by their design yields much more that what they need for themselves and their families. They produce more than they need, a surplus to TRADE with other producers so that they can gain things they need that they did not produce but which others produced. In like manner, other producers trade with out 3-person group to gain products that they need.

Capitalism in its simplest form can be thought of as producing a surplus for trade with other producers. Freedom is part and parcel to Capitalism because free choices are made in every aspect of Capitalist expression.

When our 3-person group is shoved aside and are required to work in servitude of Oligarchs, they are no longer Capitalists, they are serfs.

Serf NOUN
* an agricultural laborer bound under the feudal system to work on his lord’s estate.

Today’s serfs are no longer confined to agricultural work. They are found in every part of established commerce. They are distinguished that they have a ‘lord’, or a boss, and they possess no real substantive freedom and they certainly have very little opportunity to produce anything trade-worthy that allows their entry to the fabled Middle Class of history.

Our 3-person simple example is lost on young Americans who are treating socialism as if it is legitimate. THEY THINK OLIGARCHY IS CAPITALISM. They are confused.

What young Americans are confused about it that no matter how hard they work, no matter how much education or how many skills they obtain, they, in the average, are not able to get ahead. The Middle Class is an illusion for them. They are saddled with student loan debt, they are saddled with high rents, high utilities, high costs every which way they turn.

There seems nothing they can do to break out of their servitude. They have nothing of note, they have little freedom, they try to be good people and yet the ‘system’ has them in a hole they find it very hard to get out of.

Some can say it’s their fault. Some can always say that. But that’s NOT the way of Capitalism. That’s a form of indentured servitude by another name.

Yes, there are some young Americans that manage to break through the barriers, but there are not many of them.

The bulk of young Americans find themselves shut out of the Middle Class.

A strong thriving Middle Class is a powerful indicator of a rich society.

And the Middle Class has been dying in America.

As hard as they work and try, young Americans can’t get ahead.

And the siren song of Socialism calls to them that this is the failure of Capitalism which is a lie.

The reason the Middle Class has been dying is because Americans are no longer Capitalists, they are serfs, bound to servitude of the Oligarchy.

A large vision of President Trump;s is to bring back Capitalism to young Americans by having them discover their history, their freedom to produce and profit, so they can TRADE and satisfy all needs and then some, for themselves, their families and their communities.

And believe it or not, the President’s remarks today about the Federal Reserve leading with negative interest rates plays into a plan to bring young Americans into true Capitalism and freedom. By taking out loans that pay them rather than the other way around, young Americans will be able to buy land, seed, machinery, structures, technology, to create and distribute products that will land them solidly into the Middle Class. A NIRP will also begin to wipe out the national debt that is impossible to erase through taxation. All of this spells massive freedom for young Americans and a return to and an embrace of Capitalism.

Next we can talk about how long a NIRP should stay in place. You will love the answer. It’s ingenious. We have a President that is truly a practical genius at business and economics.
