Let's call it Trumpvirus," urged a New York Times opinion writer conspiratorially. Nancy Pelosi groused that President Trump waited too long to attack the coronavirus (COVID-19) and then impetuously declared he couldn't have leftover and unspent Ebola virus money to fight it,
Though he lamented being called a "racist" for doing so, Trump says if he hadn't hardened the U.S. borders at that point, the virus would have had gained a bigger foothold in the country.
Now, let's go to the Wayback Machine. In April of 2009, the H1N1 became a pandemic.
But it wasn't until six months later, October, that then-President Obama declared a public health emergency on what was already a pandemic. By that time, the disease had infected millions of Americans and more than 1,000 people had died in the U.S.
CNN reported at the time:
Since the H1N1 flu pandemic began in April, millions of people in the United States have been infected, at least 20,000 have been hospitalized and more than 1,000 have died, said Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. [emphasis added] Furthermore, the CDC's Frieden fretted at the time that efforts to create a vaccine had stumbled:
"We are nowhere near where we thought we would be," Frieden said, acknowledging that manufacturing delays have contributed to less vaccine being available than expected. "As public health professionals, vaccination is our strongest tool. Not having enough is frustrating to all of us." Frieden said that while the way vaccine is manufactured is "tried and true," it's not well-suited for ramping up production during a pandemic because it takes at least six months. The vaccine is produced by growing weakened virus in eggs.

And what percentage of that $8.5 b does Chuckie want to go to foreign countries The Humper Biden legal defense fund?
I was diagnosed with corona when in the hospital for a heart problem a couple years ago. They wore masks, cut off the room, etc.
Explained it to me as a “type of cold virus”.
Obviously, a different strain, but I never felt that bad. Mild fever, sniffles, cough, and congestion. It lasted about a week, because I was only there a week and the day before departure, they said it was gone.
I always wonder how he got this far in life, without God vaporizing him with a bolt of lightning.
Surprised this post has only 20 comments. The dems and the media need to have this info shoved in their faces every single time they try to hammer the president with their Covid-19 propaganda.

Where did I use 2.5?
It’s in what you posted, maybe what you posted was copy from the link but it says 2,500 million.
Trump asked for $2,500 million for US COVID-19 defense. (Btw, the $25 m CDC cut was $25 m that Drats added prior for gun death studies.)
Now, Sen. Schumer wants $8,500 million for coronavirus defense? 24 times more than for ebola 6 years ago? And what percentage of that $8.5 b does Chuckie want to go to foreign countries?
2.5 is in the post? Where?
I used $2,500 million to compare it to the $358 million in 2014, to keep terms alike (millions) for netter relativity. Same with using $8,500 million. I won’t bother with doing that again.
Can’t walk that one back, Chuck.
To further clarify, he said $2,500 million which equals $2.5B
I’m sorry. I get it. Thanks for clarifying. I honestly have never seen it wrote out that way.
This is the rats wet dream sick and dying people needing the governments help
Exactly.
