I don't know what to believe at this point. Normalcy bias will help prevent one from making stupid mistakes. Which is a good thing. Normalcy bias can also kill you, so there is that downside.

Finding the bright side, regardless as to whether this turns out to be a pandemic, or a pantomime, there seems to be some recognition at last that putting all of one's supply chain eggs in the the basket of a communist dictatorship like china is perhaps not such a good idea.

Better to smell the coffee late than never.

The corona mortality rate is 2-2 1/2%. That’s hardly a good foundation for panic.

And, included in those stats are countries with Bernie healthcare.

The elderly and those with compromised immune systems are most at risk, as usual.

Check back with me in two weeks. I’m gonna look like a freakin genius.
