I agree that Trump has helped...but he needed more time. We didn’t get reliant on China overnight, nor will we wean ourselves overnight...although this body-blow that’s about to hit will definitely speed up the weaning process.

Wouldn’t bother me a bit if he US stopped all trade with China. Why keep funding the bad guys?
There are plenty of other countries that can cheaply manufacturer whatever it is that China is making. And I don’t want my pharmaceuticals coming from China. Although generally not a fan of anti-free market, I’d much rather that anything I swallow be made in the USA.

I kept hearing about how Trump’s tariffs are so disastrous which seems very suspect to put it mildly. If you have China or any other country slapping tariffs on the Unites States when they have the trade surplus and we have the deficit, it is a rigged game. It was a good move by Trump to try to rectify this imbalance and get America more self-depedent.
