Black Cubans have little or no chance gaining significant positions in the Communist Party, or academia. So far as the exported Cuban doctors are concerned, they are marginally trained, but are basically slaves to the Cuban government bringing in about $11 billion to their economy which is about 3 times what the other commodities (sugar, tobacco, coffee, seafood, nickel, etc) bring in.
