I didn’t know that you had to register your race in order to vote. Still, I wonder if the drop-off is only seen in the democrat side. Maybe there is a corresponding influx of black and latino voters on the R side. One can hope that the #WalkAway movement is beginning to generate tangible results at the polls.

Yes, it would be very interesting to see Republican results after Trump rallied in Nevada, even though he is unopposed. I understand he did well in New Hampshire after a corresponding rally there.

To your point, if Republicans had relatively improved, especially with minorities, this would be a very significant sign.

Having the primary on a Saturday might have hurt them too.you would have to be a very enthused voter to give up a Saturday.
