First Amy Klobuchar had to acknowledge in a recent interview that she couldnt name the president of Mexico. Then, speaking at a Black History Month event in Las Vegas, she met a crowd full of people who had difficulty naming her.
Pete Buttigieg has difficulties, too. His speech at a Nevada Black Legislative Caucus brunch over the weekend competed with the din of a buffet line and whole tables of people who rarely looked up.

She may get the VP slot because of geography; Trump almost won Minnesota accidentally - and he DID win Michigan and Wisconsin.
While there is the usual pandering to certain minorities, it doesn’t seem they have much sway in these primaries; they are more important to Dems in the general election, butt he Dem leadership isn’t too concerned about their input at this stage.
When you saw all the nonsense about “American workers” last night, it was very clear the thrust was directed at white voters. Plenty of those minorities work, but the most solid part of the Dem base is the welfare clientele (of all colors).
