We see the same thing in the United States. Is it because leftists have no morals, shame, or doubt about taking over "charitable organizations" and weaponizing them against freedom and the Constitution?

I guess I won’t be buying anymore Tolkien books, not that I need any.

This article is a big reason that I won’t leave donations to charities and non-profits in my will. Donations are on a scrutinized year by year basis.
Organizations can drift hard left even if they were founded for good works (ex: used to send a check to the BSA every year).

People give to Alma Maters, religious organizations and non-profits and fund evil with blind good intentions.
